i have the same problem
IT already solved, you have to log in (make an account) if you want to type in chat. That's not a bug it's made purpousely
I think the problem is that they are already logged in. I had that problem before, where I was already logged in but It said I had to log in to chat. Right now I'm having this problem where it says "Only one connection per account can chat".
