@Mistik this would take a lot of coding but could be revolutionary for io games. If each blob had a x y and z coordinate the the map was a 3D space it would create a far more complex and interesting game with a whole new learning curve. I’m interested to hear everyone’s thoughts.
I actually have a 3D version semi working
Mistik that’s cool but when u split all at spawn mass it flung it across way too many would be sectors. People would just split normally but they would have angles into a different plane rather than 2D angles. It would be spherical rather than circular. The display that the player sees would also be 3D.
u know that a game like agar .io it was created but in 3d right?
Scorpius oh didn’t know that. Was it successful?
Future i dont remember a lot
very intresting concept, but as scorpius said there was already a game created in 3d but they didnt do that great and recieved near to no recognition
adi @Scorpius yes but if they built their entire game around the 3D concept then that meant they lacked a player base to begin with. @Mistik already has an active player base with lots of 2D gamemodes already. People wouldn’t have to play it if they didn’t want to. It would either make senpa massive or wouldn’t affect it at all if it didn’t become popular, but it definitely wouldn’t negatively affect the game. Also @Mistik you could set up a system in which you get beta testers to try the new servers or features before u release them to everyone to give a sample of what the community will think.
i think that game still working let me see
yeah thats kinda true
Scorpius yeah especially the last part
but idk if it worth to try an 3d gamemode
Scorpius neither do I and anyway it’s up to @Mistik to decide. Also is that an alt account mistik?
